Wellness, not medical care
Pola is a general wellness and education app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not use Pola to make medical decisions. Talk to a qualified clinician before changing how you eat or fast, particularly if you are pregnant, managing diabetes or an eating disorder, or taking medication.
Using Pola
The fasting timer, hydration log, check-ins, reports, and body-stage education work without an account. An optional free account adds cloud backup and one weekly insight. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you log and for keeping your sign-in email secure.
Pola Pro
Pola Pro is an auto-renewable subscription offered monthly or annually. It unlocks on-demand insight refresh, your full insight history, and data export. Everything else in Pola stays free.
Payment and renewal
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period, at the price shown in the App Store for your region.
Managing and cancelling
Manage or cancel a subscription in the App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period continues to its end. Deleting Pola does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy. Pola cannot issue refunds directly. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Insights are generated
Weekly insights are produced by a language model from your own logged data. They describe patterns in your records; they can be wrong, and they are never a clinical assessment.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Pola at any time and remove your data with Account → Delete account and data. Access may be suspended if Pola is used unlawfully or in a way that harms the service or other people.
Liability
Pola is provided as is, without warranties, to the maximum extent the law allows. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under the consumer law that applies to you.
